The Path to Joining Our Community

Step 1 – Contact: Let us know you are interested!
First, contact us – through our website, via phone or email. We’ll talk about the community, and answer any questions you might have. One of our families has lived in cohousing before, and is happy to talk to you about their experience.
Then, meet with us! Come to one of our informational gatherings, or just tell us when you’re available and we can work out a meeting during the week. We can also meet long distance via Zoom or Skype.
Step 2 – Join as an Associate: Get to know us and get seniority for unit selection!
The next step is to join as an Associate Member. Associates pay a non-refundable monthly fee of $50 for as long as they remain in Associate status. As an Associate Member, you’ll be connected with a mentor within the community to help guide you through the process of learning more about RSC, joining in on meetings, and other details. You’re able to join our SLACK discussion list, have a voice in our community meetings, and have access to various development documents that will help you get an idea of what unit you might like to live in. Becoming an Associate is what gives you a priority spot in line for the future unit you’d like to purchase.
Step 3 – Join as a Full Member: Reserve your unit of choice!
When ready to join the community, full members make an initial $500 deposit that goes toward the cost of their unit, and then contribute a percentage of their unit price. Financial details can be explained to interested folks, just contact us!
